- Margaret River

After yesterdays huge effort we decided to take a trip south to Margaret River.
Pretty happy with Steve and my's handiwork! Couple of new bags to keep poles & lines in order and a fancy new fridge slide and drawer set up for the back of the car.
First stop was The Candy Cow where all the children - big & little managed to find something to satisfy their sweet tooth!
Prevelly beach where Margaret River meets the ocean was a great spot for lunch.
..and then it was on to the winerys, after all that's what we came for. We stopped of at Evans & Tate where the boys decided on a few bottles of wine to take home!
The resident dog kept the kiddos amused for a little while.
We spied this sign as we drove into the winery and thought it would be a great "piece" for Skipper, alas, it was stuck fast!
Next stop was the Cheeky Monkey Brewery which seemed quite fitting for the guys!
An absolute MUST on the list was a visit to Gnomesville. It certainly is a hidden treasure! We drove for ages trying to find this magical town and just when the convoy was about ready to call it a day we stumbled upon it.
The story goes something like this; a resident placed a single gnome on the roundabout to watch the roadworks, someone decided the gnome needed a friend and before the town knew it gnomes started to multiply like gremlins! It became somewhat of a traffic hazard so the gnomes were relocated across the road to a reserve just for them. It has now become a pilgrimage to find Gnomesville and leave a gnome of your own.
