Last night was our first solo free camp! We had driven past a few deserted camp spots and there a couple that are listed in the book that seem to have disappeared? It was getting dark and this was the last one for quite a drive so we decided to settle in for the night, we slept surprisingly well except for the roadworks lights that flashed through the night.

It was just a quick drive through of Esperance as the weather was pretty miserable but it did look like a lovely little town.
We found some camels guarding the town roundabout in Norseman!
We also found Mama & Bapa camped at the accommodation next door, so it was off to the pub for some dinner. It was a stereotypical outback Aussie pub complete with the locals.
