Day 8 - The Road to Port Augusta

  • Adelaide - Port Augusta
  • 332 kms
  • 20°c
Headed off bout 9.00am, was first time we've used the alarm since we left, let's hope that doesn't happen too often! Stopped off at RV place to get a part to fix the awning and then headed on out of the big smoke.

Not a lot to see once we were on the highway so we played a bit of caravan baseball; they really are a friendly bunch, caravanners, but every now and then we'd strike out with a few that just didn't want to give "the wave"!

Pulled into Snowtown for a quick toilet stop and a cup of tea it, then it was back on the road again but not before we snapped a Pic of Ella in front of the "Big Blade", woo hoo! The first of "The Bigs"

We stopped for the night at The Top Tourist in Port Augusta, $37 for powered site, barb wire free of charge and gates locked at 9.30pm for the night!
