31st August - and so it begins...

goodbye house, goodbye school, goodbye stuff

This is it, we're really doing it! The tenant moves in tomorrow, so for the next 12 months the KarmaBus is home! The last day of school was a bit emotional for E&O, saying goodbye to their friends and not knowing when or if they'll be coming back to school?  We hooked up the van from her parking spot - thanks a bunch David & Sylke for keeping an eye on her and headed off to our first stop.  

We settled in for a couple of days and were spoilt rotten with gourmet meals, complete laundry service & great company!  E&O chose to do a little homeschooling after Magpies swooped them both, on what was supposed to be a lovely afternoon walk looking at wildlife. 

E&O were super interested in Skippers Workshop - so many things to look at, they loved the secret treasures he had and the stories that went with them.  The giant "can opener" was a favourite and they were most disappointed when they found out that the Skippers Workshop was closed on Sunday!

We were fortunate enough to be there for "Swamp night" and Ella discovered Skippers secret ingredient for swamp chicken - Millenden!

A huge thank you to Skipper & Charm for a wonderful time & for having Indie, you guys are the best.
