Woken by the alarm at 7.30am on Mothers
Day?! We didn’t want to miss the bird feeding. With coffee in hand we waited
for the rainbow lorikeets to come down to the feeding post, they were a bit slow
this morning but when they did come down they were hungry! We all took a bit of
food and the birds came flocking, on our head, arms, back! Ella wasn’t too keen
on the birds hanging onto her, Occy didn’t mind but didn’t go back for seconds.
A quick trip into Cannonvale for supplies
and we stopped off at Mangrove Jacks for a lovely Mothers Day Lunch of wood
fired pizza, mmm mm!
The pool was cool to the toes but that
didn’t stop Ella & Oscar whooshing down the slide and splashing into the
water!
I managed to get a bit of stitchin done on
the porch whilst the rest of the family relaxed inside.
Dinner was stone soup (aka anything and
everything left in the fridge) as we are clearing out tomorrow!!
