Today the alarm went off early so we could make it in time to have brekky with the koalas. The buffet wasn't as expansive as the one at the hotel but it was a much nicer view looking at the koalas snoozing on their branches. A couple of cheeky Kookaburras swiped some sausages off another diners plate and gave him quite a fright.
Ella and Oscar were so excited to be able to hold the koalas this time, as last time we saw koalas they were too small to actually hold them. Ella was given Waldo and Oscar held Willy, they were beautiful animals and a bit heavy according to Oscar.
Steve took us up to "bromance point" which did offer a really great view of the island and then we drove the back streets and let Ella & Occy take the wheel!
We had a round of mini golf which looks like it has seen better days, not the best one we've played on.What was left to do, a swim in the pool of course and then down the marina for ice creams. This time it was Ella that slipped and grazed her knee!
Tonight was date night for Nik & Steve so the rest of us caught the shuttle bus in the rain to the marina for pizza.
