Our Guest House - Hillcrest was absolutely lovely and we even had breakfast included in our accommodation. We wanted to leave reasonably early as we had no idea what the day on the Bloomfield Track had in store for us!
We pulled up for a cuppa at the first river crossing and I thought the sign said the crossing was closed? but a couple that were also enjoying a brew told us that they had just come over it and that we'd be fine!
I don't think any of us knew what to expect but the Jeep did it easy, straight over but it was still a bit of excitement.
