Day 286 – Bramwell Station

  • Punsand Bay – Bramwell Station
  • 275kms
  • 25°ce
Goodbye Cape York, we're heading back South today, we filled up the tanks at Bramwell Roadhouse at the princely sum of $2.25 a litre!

Steve kindly restocked by tea supply, they didn't carry my brand but when you're out, you don't complain! We had to stop off at the Croc Tent as "Red The Piglet" was awake, such a cute little porker.

Across the river again, no crocs to mention!

The other Jeepers went across first and we were given the all clear.

What an amazing group of waterfalls we saw today, well worth the rough roads.

It had to be done, I drove The Old Telegraph Track!

Fruit Bat Falls is by far one of the most beautiful waterfalls we've come across, So amazing.

It was nice to set up camp at Bramwell Station, the kiddos were pleased to see their bovine friends again.

Bramwell Station, $30, unpowered, amenities, Outback Bar
